280. PICKUP TRUCKS/COMMERCIAL VEHICLES

 

A. no commercial vehicles are permitted to be parked anywhere in the community except for temporary parking during construction activities or while providing pickup or delivery or other commercial services.

B. pickup trucks which are labeled with commercial lettering or graphics, which contain fixed toolboxes, ladders or ladder carriers, are considered commercial vehicles and are only permitted as in (A) above.

C. personal/family use pickup trucks are permitted to be parked in driveways or on the street in accordance with county regulations(no on street parking after dark). Truck beds must be empty, otherwise trucks must be garaged at night.

 

290. PLANT MATERIAL

 

A. Trees

 1. Type

       a. subject to prior ACB approval

       b.no ficus trees without adjoining lot approval

       c.fruit trees cannot be a nuisance in the sole opinion and discretion of the Board of Directors

 2. Setback

       a. 5 feet from side property line

       b. 2 feet with adjoining lot approval

       c. no trees on lake easement

B. Hedging

 1. Spacing

       a. shall be continuous (minimum space 18 inches)

 2. Type

       a. subject to prior ACB approval

       b. hibiscus, Surinam cherry, jasmine, silver buttonwood, etc. are preferred

       c. ficus with adjoining lot approval

3. Setback

       a. inside property line (18 inches minimum)

       b. no hedging on easements

4. Height

       a. Dry lots

              1) 6 foot maximum         

       b. Lake Lots

              1) 4 foot maximum

              2) 6 foot maximum from house to lake easement but not to obscure views

C. Plants

1. adding new planter beds requires approval of Architectural Control Board

2. replacing plants in existing annual beds does not require approval

3. no vegetable gardens are permitted
